Playa Citizen Real Estate is a customer-focused boutique real estate agency based in Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo, in the Mexican Caribbean. We have long been a trusted source for investing in and purchasing real estate throughout the region, including Playa del Carmen, the Riviera Maya, Tulum, Sian Ka’an, Bacalar, and beyond.

Now, Playa Citizen Real Estate is Gary Martin Wendt. When you begin your journey with me, I will be your primary point of contact from our first conversation through to a successful purchase.

Occasionally, I may introduce you to an experienced associate to ensure the highest level of professional results. However, I personally review all associate activity and communicate directly with you.

Playa Citizen S.A. de C.V. was founded in September 2002 and established its office on First Avenue between 14th and 16th Streets in May 2003—a testament to longevity, experience, credibility, and professional accreditation.Today, technology allows me to work seamlessly from my home office in Playa del Carmen.

I have been based and working full-time in Playa del Carmen since 2000, dedicating myself to continuous study and hands-on experience in Mexico’s real estate market. In fact, my connection to Mexico began decades before my permanent residency. This country is a beautiful and welcoming place to call home.

Through experience, I have learned that the fastest way to gain valuable insight is through a phone call—no pressure, no obligation, just a straightforward conversation with much more information. I am pleased to assist you by any means of communication you prefer. However, I believe a phone call is the best way to communicate when a face-to-face meeting is not possible.
