Frequently Asked Questions
Welcome to Playa Citizen Real Estate. One call will add much more understanding and appreciation than the few comments below. You may recommend questions that require your better understanding. We will add your question with our answer to this list as soon as possible.
Question about buying
Of course. Anyone who suggests or promotes otherwise is distracting you from understanding any real estate property – anywhere. However, a great agent is a super partner, an essential asset, an experienced guide to price, location, features, value, history of the property and the area, and usually at no cost to the buyer. Make sure your agent qualifies.
The short answer is the honest answer. Yes and no and maybe. Value depends on all variables at the moment of the consideration to purchase any property. A good conversation should follow this question.
In the best case scenario, a broker is experienced specifically in full-time real estate property transactions and your guide through all the steps from introduction through purchase, every movement in between and beyond the closing. Education, special training, extra coursework, a talent for business and details, and experience in the area are premium attributes. Sales experience is an extra talent not an essential attribute!
Of course. Like anything performed the first time or any task accomplished in another country, make sure your agent assists you in the basics after the closing of successfully navigating your responsibilities in México.
As long as each set of variables unique to each property transaction require. Avoiding the answer you prefer? A bit. Please understand that “generally” a plan on 60 days without consideration of variables. Specific variables include: changes in federal, state and local government policies, availability of all documentation required of the seller, workloads of all the people assigned to the process, season, luck, and weather will all have some effect on a schedule. A well-planned schedule begins with an agent who plans the details well.
Question about renting
There is only a “standard” for the best way to secure a rental property. A legally-written contract signed, notarized, and registered in the court. Not usual. Most residential rentals should at least follow closely to a better method of a legally-written contract signed and notarized.
This logic applies to any agreement to be honored and enforced in every case. Handshakes, promises and relying on memory are for other agents – not this one.
